Rako is a small community based within the Kochere District of the famous Yirgacheffe region. Farmers here plant false banana and acacia trees alongside their coffee to provide shade and enrich their soil. Indigenous varieties and a high elevation ensure this smaller bean embodies the delicate floral characteristics that the Yirgacheffe is famous for.
